PlanWerk raises $28 million Series A, led by an investor who has read the deck twice
The second read, the investor said, was “to check the first.”
MELBOURNE, Australia, 19 May 2026 (PlanWerk Wire). PlanWerk today announced a $28 million Series A led by Marginal Ventures, with participation from Tailwind Adjacent Partners and existing seed investors, who were “enthusiastic about being existing.”
The round was oversubscribed by a single investor, who was thanked for their interest and given a lanyard. It follows the company’s seed round, which raised $4.2 million and a number of questions.
PlanWerk says the new capital will allow it to move from “idea” to “the stage where the idea has a logo,” a milestone the company reports has already been achieved.
“Their deck was the clearest I have read on the subject of resource capacity. I read it once to understand it and once to check I hadn’t missed the product. I hadn’t. I was still very impressed.”
