MELBOURNE, Australia, 24 September 2026 (PlanWerk Wire). PlanWerk, the resource capacity platform that has not yet launched, today published an open letter to the current owner of planwerk.com.au, a domain the company always intended to register and, at a critical moment, did not.

The letter follows a comprehensive internal review, which established that the domain was available, that somebody noticed, and that it was not us.

“We are not alleging theft. We are alleging timing. Theirs was better than ours, and it was deployed without any regard for how it would make us feel.”

Sebastian Klett, Founder & CEO

What the letter says

  • We know who you are. We will not say, owing to ongoing proceedings in the Court of Deeply Held Feelings, a fictional jurisdiction convened shortly after the discovery.
  • No irregularity has been found in the registration process. The company describes this as “particularly difficult to accept.”
  • A Committee for Domain Repatriation has been formed. A subcommittee is now reviewing whether “repatriation” is the right word, given that it implies prior possession.
  • An indicative acquisition package of $14.95, a cutting from the office pot plant and an honorary PlanWerk University qualification has been extended. There is no equity, no board seat and no right to rename The Framework.

“I water the plant. I did not expect the plant to become a negotiating asset. I support the decision.”

Tom Ross, Head of Gemini

Business continuity

PlanWerk stresses that operations are unaffected. The .life environment is fully available, all seventeen offices remain operational, and no customer has experienced disruption, in that there are none. The matter is tracked on the company’s public status page as INC-004, which remains open and unresolved.

“You may hold the domain,” the letter concludes. “You do not hold the narrative.”

Klett confirmed that PlanWerk will continue to describe the matter as unresolved “for as long as it is useful, and probably after that.”
